ING Commercial Banking

ING Commercial Banking is the corporate and investment banking division of ING Group and conducts a wide range of international financial services including sales, trading and distribution of debt market products, research, treasury, foreign exchange, money markets and derivatives. It also offers corporate finance, M&A advisory, debt capital markets origination, securitization, and corporate and structured lending services.  Additionally, ING has unique strengths in cash management, international payments, wholesale insurance and employee benefits products.

ING Commercial Banking is present and active in 12 key Asia economies including China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.


ING Retail Banking

Managed from the regional office in Singapore, ING Retail Banking's operations include Bank of Beijing in which ING holds 16.07% stake, ING Vysya Bank in India in which ING has a 44% stake, and TMB in Thailand in which ING holds a 30%.

ING Direct

ING Direct is a major direct bank with about 19 million customers in nine countries. In Asia Pacific ING DIRECT began operating in Australia in 1999 and now boasts over 1.3 million customers with a retail deposit base of more than EUR 8 billion. Unlike traditional banks, ING DIRECT does not maintain a branch network and customers access their funds via the telephone, Internet or mail. Pioneering the branchless banking approach, ING DIRECT is now the country’s sixth largest retail bank and employs over 700 staff.
