As of 16 March 2009, Michal Szczurek assumed the position of Chief of Retail Banking TMB, Thailand. Michal will play an integral role in executing TMB’s retail strategy, with a major focus on accelerating the expansion of TMB’s sales and service network. He will report directly to Boontuck Wungcharoen, CEO, TMB.

Michal brings a broad spectrum of experience to the role, and has chalked up 15 years of experience in asset management, retail banking, insurance and private banking at various ING units. Before joining TMB, he was the General Manager Retail Banking division ING Bank Slaski, Poland.

Michal holds a Masters in Economics from a joint program of Warsaw University in Poland and Columbia University.
