Krista Baetens assumed the role of Regional Head for General Lending in July 2007 and is responsible for origination and execution of lending products in Asia. She is also appointed as the Country Manager Singapore in April 2009. She has been with ING for 10 years, of which almost 6 years were spent in Asia between Hong Kong and Singapore. With roles in General Lending, Structured Finance, Risk Management and Business Management, Krista has had the opportunity to tackle a broad range of financial products and structures.

Krista read a Double-Masters degree in Law and Arts (specializing in Italian Literature) at the Catholic University Leuven in Belgium and graduated with Distinction (Honours) for both degrees. She was also conferred the prestigious “Laureat of Prince Albert Fund” title for her contribution to international business development in Belgium.
